The Institute of Applied Psychology - Education has just held a ceremony to announce the decision establishing its Ho Chi Minh City Branch.

The event marks a new step in the Institute's strategy of expanding its operations to meet the growing demand for psychological counselling, special education and scientific research in the southern region.
At the ceremony, Dr. Vo Thi My Nga, Chief of Office of the Institute, announced the decision appointing MSc. Ly Thuy Bich Huyen as Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Psychology - Education.
On behalf of the President of the Vietnam Association of Psychological and Educational Sciences, MSc., MD. Pham Van Giao, member of the Association's Executive Committee and Director of the Institute, presented the appointment decision and congratulated the new Deputy Director.
The programme also included the announcement of the decision establishing the Ho Chi Minh City Branch. MSc. Ly Thuy Bich Huyen was appointed Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch, and MSc. Nguyen Van Nam was appointed Deputy Director of the Branch.

In her acceptance speech, MSc. Ly Thuy Bich Huyen, the new Deputy Director of the Institute and Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch, expressed her determination, together with the team, to build the Branch into a reputable address in psychology and education, helping to connect scientific values with the community.
Speaking at the ceremony, MSc., MD. Pham Van Giao, Director of the Institute, said that establishing the Ho Chi Minh City Branch is an inevitable step, in line with the Institute's development orientation for 2026 - 2031 and its strategic vision to 2036.

“This is not only an organisational expansion but also an expression of the aspiration for long-term, sustainable development, gradually bringing the values of psychology and education closer to the community, especially in the era of the nation's rise, MSc., MD. Pham Van Giao emphasised.”
The Institute's leaders expect the Ho Chi Minh City Branch to become an important bridge between the Institute and agencies, organisations, schools, hospitals, enterprises and the community in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces, while upholding the core values "Understanding - Sincerity - Companionship - Development".

Pham Van Giao expressed his confidence that, with the attention of the Vietnam Association of Psychological and Educational Sciences, the companionship of partners, experts and teachers, and the efforts of the whole team, the Ho Chi Minh City Branch will develop steadily, build professional prestige and become a trusted address in the application of psychological and educational science in the southern region.
